Bij welke bank hebben de meeste Business Babes een zakelijke rekening?

Een veelgestelde vraag onder startende Business Babes: waar ga ik mijn zakelijke rekening openen? Ik vroeg het aan de community om te kijken waar de meeste babes hun rekening hebben en vroeg ook waarom ze voor deze bank hebben gekozen.

 

Waarom een zakelijke rekening openen?

Laten we eerst even teruggaan naar deze vraag: waarom moet je überhaupt een zakelijke rekening openen? Waarom zou je die extra kosten maken als je het ook gewoon op je privé rekening kan doen? Het simpele antwoord is: voor jouw administratie. Het is volgens de wet niet verplicht om een zakelijke rekening te hebben. Echter is het wel verstandig om er eentje te hebben voor jouw administratie. Zo creëer je een beter overzicht van jouw privé administratie en zakelijke administratie. Als je samenwerkt met een boekhouder of accountant, is het voor hen makkelijker om het onderscheid tussen beide administraties te maken, als je er aparte rekeningen voor hebt. Daarnaast komt het ook een stuk professioneler over naar klanten toe als zij een bedrag overmaken naar een zakelijke rekening in plaats van naar jouw persoonlijke rekening. Om deze redenen raad ik je zeker aan om een zakelijke rekening te openen.

Welke bank kies je voor een zakelijke rekening?

De keuze waar jij jouw zakelijke rekening wilt openen, is persoonlijk. Uit het onderzoekje in de Business Babes Community blijkt dat er op basis van verschillende factoren een keuze wordt gemaakt bij welke bank je zit.

Het meest wordt er een keuze gemaakt op basis van de kosten. De kosten van het openen van een zakelijke rekening lopen uiteen. Je betaalt veelal per transactie, bij sommige banken ook per rekening en soms zelfs per bankpas.

Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om een rekening te openen bij de bank waar je privé ook een rekening hebt. Dat scheelt vaak overmaak verwerkingstijd, maar is ook het meest overzichtelijke omdat je al jouw rekeningen in één mobiel bankieren app hebt.

Een andere keuze is om te kijken naar duurzaamheid. Veelgenoemde banken die bijdragen aan duurzaamheid zijn ASN en Triodos.

 

Wat zijn de meest genoemde banken?

Hieronder zie je een kort overzicht van de 3 meest genoemde banken in de Business Babes Community:

Knab: €5 per maand. Kosteloos extra rekeningen openen. 1000 transacties per jaar gratis. Het 1e jaar voor starters 50% korting: dus niet €60, maar €30 voor het eerste jaar.

Rabobank: Als starter eerste jaar geen vaste kosten en korting op transacties. Daarna €9,95 per maand exclusief transactiekosten. Extra rekening: €5,30 per rekening per maand.

ING: Eerste 6 maanden gratis voor starters (rekeningen, transacties). Extra startersvoordeel bij enkele partners van ING. Na die 6 maanden betaal je €9,90 per maand. Extra rekening: €4,90 per maand. Per transactie (bij- of afschrijving) €0,10. Per incasso transactie: €0,11.

Waar kiezen de meeste Business Babes voor?

In een poll vroeg ik aan de babes in de Facebook community bij welke bank zij een zakelijke rekening hebben geopend.

We vroegen deze vraag in februari 2019, toen stemden er 285 babes mee in de poll,  waarvan ruim de meerderheid (68%) een zakelijke rekening heeft bij Knab. 11% koos voor Rabobank en 10% voor ING. De overige banken, zoals Bunq, ABN Amro, SNS en Triodos worden door de resterende 12% van de stemmers gebruikt.

In augustus 2020 (1,5 jaar later) vroeg ik de vraag opnieuw. Toen stemden er 619 (!) babes mee in de poll. 65% gaf toen aan een rekening te hebben bij Knab. Nog steeds op nummer 2 en 3 staan Rabobank en ING. Gevoldg worden de banken die duurzaamheid hoog in het vaandel hebben: ABN Amro, Triodos en ASN. Er is een duidelijke stijging van de bank Bunq (in 2019 4 stemmen, in augustus al 24!). Aan de reacties te zien zijn er veel mensen aan het denken om over te stappen van de bank om verschillende redenen: ze willen weg bij de bank waar ze privé zitten of ze kunnen niet bij Knab terecht omdat Knab geen BV’s aanneemt of omdat en wachttijden bij andere banken hoog is. Het voordeel van opkomer Bunq is dat ook een heleboel rekening kan openen, digitale passen kan hebben (ideaal als je met Profit First werkt en vooral betalingen digitaal doet), makkelijk een creditcard kan aanvragen, geen wachttijd hebt maar daar staat wel tegenover dat de kosten wat hoger liggen dan Knab.

    Ik zag deze post weer voorbij komen in de FB, maar vind het heel jammer dat hier geen (meer) duurzame opties worden genoemd (zoals Triodos of ASN BANK). Dat kan ook een belangrijke overweging zijn :) :) :)
